IN-STORE APPOINTMENTS AT THE BOUTIQUE
As always, the safety and well being of our clients and staff is our priority; we are committed to operating responsibly and want to offer a safe and enjoyable environment for all that visit us, whether that be in-store or online. We are following guidance from the Department of Health and Social Care and Public Health England. All visitors and staff are being asked to follow the current guidelines on maintaining personal hygiene to help prevent the risk and spread of infection.
On Monday 23rd March The UK Government has announced that all non-essential shops must close. Sadly, this does mean that the Boutique will close its doors to visiting customers while the Country is in Lockdown until the restrictions are lifted and we are hopefully at the end of this global crisis.
The Valentia Bridal Boutique will also continue to offer a telephone service for all clients via mobile between 9am and 8pm on 07842 544841. (please text us or leave us a message if we are unable to answer your call when you telephone)
We are aware that during these extraordinary times you may not be able to visit the Boutique, whether that be for a short or prolonged period of time, We have now launched a new service called i-BRIDE. This is a virtual appointment service where you get to chat via media link to a consultant our aim is to give you a boutique experience as if you were actually at the Boutique!
We are therefore now able to offer i-BRIDE appointments for new clients wishing to purchase their wedding dress or special occasion outfit. You can book an appointment online via our live booking system at https://www.valentiaboutique.co.uk/book-an-appointment

UK GOVERNMENT UPDATE TO LEGISLATION SUNDAY 25TH MAY 2020
We are pleased to announce that the UK Government has allowed us to reopen for in-store appointments from Monday 15th June 2020.
Over the last few weeks during lock-down we have been preparing the Boutique to comply with the Government Regulations to allow us to reopen following the guidelines for best practice on managing the risk of COVID-19:
We fully understand that purchasing your wedding dress should be one of the most exciting and memorable days of your life that you may like to share the experience with your nearest and dearest. This is why we have now adapted our in-store appointments to allow for live conferencing so you can have all of your nearest and dearest interacting with you as if they were actually there. You will be contacted within 48 hours of your appointment if you would like to take advantage of this free service.
The new Government legislation will mean a big change in how we carry out appointments in-store, but we have to take all reasonable steps to manage the transmission risk to comply with government guidelines. Our excellent customer service will be as good as ever and we would kindly just ask you to follow our new in-store guidelines:
The Boutique will no longer allow walk-in appointments, All appointments will be run on a strict appointment only basis and the Boutique will remain closed so that the public can not enter the premises. Only one appointment will be carried in-store at any one time.
Appointment availability will be reduced in order for us to be able to comply with the new legislation and will allow the staff to thoroughly clean and sanitise.
Temperature Check – For all fittings we will check your temperature on arrival at the studio. This is not intrusive and takes a matter of seconds. We will ensure all staff temperatures are also taken before every shift.
On arrival at the Boutique complimentary hand sanitiser is available for your convenience. The Boutique also has adequate hand washing facilities with electric hand dryer for your convenience.
Face Masks should be worn; clients can bring their own or purchase in-store on arrival.
Gloves will be provided and will need to be worn in-store throughout the appointment
Only two persons are permitted in the store at any one time a 2 meter social distancing rule is in place.
All products and surfaces will be steamed and cleaned with antibacterial disinfectant cleaner before and in-between every appointment
Staff have been advised to minimise physical contact and are regularly washing their hands throughout the day and will be wearing protective equipment throughout the appointment.
A COVID-19 Screen has been installed at reception
We have an one page summary setting out our protocols for you to agree and accept prior to the appointment.
The Boutique will no longer accept payments by cash. All major credit/debit card payments are accepted and payment by BACS
We kindly request that clients do not attend their appointment should they feel unwell. Any client displaying signs of temperature, cold or flu on arrival will be asked to reschedule.
The Boutique is open 7 days a week strictly by appointment at all times. Times vary throughout the week as we have found that working with our clients' busy schedules provides a better shopping experience.

EXISTING ORDERS & LIMITED-CONTACT COLLECTIONS
We have been reassured by our suppliers and partners that there are currently no significant delays to orders. We are regularly checking the progress of our current customer orders and they are are currently all progressing as expected.
If you are one of our customers whose wedding has been postponed, please contact us so that we can update our records.
Payment plan arrangements must be kept to in accordance with our terms and conditions. If you are experiencing financial hardship please contact us in the first instance.
As of 23rd March 2020, the UK Government has ordered the closure of all non-essential shops. This means that we can no longer allow the general public in our store until the restrictions have been lifted. Just because our doors are temporarily closed to the public does not mean that we have stopped work.
All orders, pre-existing and new will be processed as usual, however during this restrictive legislation we are offering our customers 2 months FREE storage, or as of 15th June 2020 we be able to offer limited-contact collections in-store.
We will be able to offer limited-contact collections in-store from Monday 15th June 2020 which will be operated on a strict by appointment only basis and in-line with UK Government regulations. When visiting the store you can choose to either collect your order or have the opportunity to try on your order (if applicable). The safety of you and our staff are priority, please therefore read our in-store COVID guidance.
We will keep this page updated with any information which may have an impact should this occur.
NEW CUSTOMER ORDERS
Orders can be placed as per normal with our standard delivery times.
In-store appointments will be available from 15th June 2020. Please read the in-store appointment guidance above
We are also operating orders to be made online or by i-BRIDE. If you are purchasing an item of clothing you can book an i-BRIDE appointment so we can go through the measurement process with you to ensure you get the correct size. Please take note of the delivery times as most items we sell as made to order.
Our wedding dress collections and prom and occasion wear collections are also available on an express delivery service should this be necessary for urgent orders, your sales consultant will advise what service you require at the time of ordering.
We also hold various stock at the Boutique, in addition, some of our suppliers also hold a stock in the UK available for immediate dispatch. We serve clients around the globe and will continue to do so. We are able to offer i-BRIDE virtual appointments during this time os social distancingand adhereing to UK Government legislation of closing our Boutique we remain to stay open via video conferencing (i-BRIDE) during the time you are not allowed to visit the store. We will be delivering our orders throughout the UK and around the world.
VENUE DECORATION SERVICE
If you have booked our venue decoration service during anytime where the UK government have changed legislation about social gatherings and your venue has had to cancel due to this, on providing written proof from your venue we will transfer your venue hire to an alternative date without charge.
