These terms and conditions set out the basis on which you can use our website and place orders for items from The Valentia Boutique. By ordering goods from The Valentia Boutique you are deemed to have understood and accepted these terms.
The supplier of the goods featured is The Valentia Boutique, a trading name of Azzurra Retail Ltd (“Valentia”, “we”, or “us”). Registered office 1 Sheffield Road, Tunbridge Wells Kent TN4 0PD. Registered number 08359663 (England and Wales).
You may contact us by email through Customer Services or call us on 0333 800 3494 during our usual store opening times. Telephone calls to and from The Valentia Boutique may be recorded and monitored as part of our efforts to further improve service to our customers.
We may contact you from time to time for marketing purposes by email, mail or telephone with relevant offers from The Valentia Boutique, Valentia Bridal or Valentia Event Hire.

Customers can shop online through the Valentia Boutique website using their credit or debit card, eVoucher or gift card or PayPal. The terms and conditions set out below will then apply.
Orders and Contract Information
Your order for goods is accepted and a contract is formed between The Valentia Boutique and you when we despatch the goods you have ordered and not before. A contract is not formed at the point in time that payment has been taken from you by The Valentia Boutique, nor at the point in time that you receive an email from Valentia acknowledging receipt of your order.
Until the goods are despatched the order may not be accepted by The Valentia Boutique or may be cancelled by you.
Exceptions apply to orders for personalised items and goods made to your order which cannot be cancelled by you once you have received email confirmation that your order has been received; as such items and goods may already be in production as a result of your order.

You (the Consumer) will be responsible for all claims, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses suffered or incurred by us as a result of your breach or default in the discharge of your obligations.
Parties to this agreement agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
Delivery & Shipping Charges
Prices below exclude Venue Decor Hire Services. (Please refer to separate section)
The standard delivery service applies on orders placed Monday to Friday (not including public holidays). All orders placed at the weekend or during public holidays will be processed the next working day. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed. Deliveries will usually be made within 10 working days.
Standard courier delivery charge to home for orders under £100.00 is £5.95
Standard courier delivery charge to home for orders over £100.01 is FREE
Express 48 hour Delivery Charges where available for all orders is £12.95
Made to Order items – delivery timescales vary please check individual items or contact our Customer Services Team before you place your order. Delivery charges above will apply for all UK orders.
Click & Collect – collect instore usually within 7 working days – FREE. You will receive an email wen your order is ready to collect.
We do not deliver to BFPO addresses.
International Deliveries – Various delivery times & charges will apply depending on the size of your order. You may also be charged additional import duties relevant to your country of residence. Please contact our Customer Services Team if you require assistance placing your order.

Free Delivery Offers and Order Codes
Free delivery offers are subject to availability and are not available for delivery outside the UK. Free delivery and other offer codes remain the property of The Valentia Boutique, are non-transferable and may not be reproduced in any other form or used in conjunction with any other offer.
The express delivery service is subject to stock and availability and demand. When the courier service is not available, The Valentia Boutique will deliver by an alternative carrier and this may take longer.
Express Delivery is not available on special or made to order items or International Deliveries.
Rush orders may be available for made to order items at a surcharge and are subject to availability. Please contact Customer Service before placing your order.
Cancellation & Returns - Online Purchases
Under Consumer Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order as long as you do so no later than 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods or service.
Please be aware that your right to cancel does not apply to certain goods that we sell online, for example, items made to order, such as selected clothing garments that are available solely on a made to order basis, selected made to order accessories and made to measure items, perishable food items, unsealed toiletries and cosmetics, or pierced earrings and lingerie for hygiene reasons are exempt from cancellations, refunds and returns. Please refer to the Services Cancellation Policy for the various services we offer including venue decoration and dress cleaning.
You must inform us of your wish to cancel in writing either by letter, email or by using the cancellation form on the website or call 01323 845566 within a period of 14 days beginning on the day after the day you receive your goods. Please download our Returns Form which must be included with your returned items.
If you are e-mailing us or writing to us please include details of your order to help us to identify it. If you send us your cancellation notice by e-mail or by post, then your cancellation is effective from the date you send us the e-mail or post the letter (stamped proof of posting required). For example, you will have given us notice in time as long as you get your letter into the last post on the last day of the cancellation period or e-mail us before midnight on that day.
You must take reasonable care of the goods and not use them. The Valentia Boutique reserve the right to refuse to accept the return of an item that has been damaged or used.
You should return goods to us in their original packaging within 14 days of informing us of your wish to cancel.Return received after this time will NOT be accepted under our terms
If you return goods to us, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to them during transit and we recommend that you use a recorded or secure delivery method. The Valentia Boutique will not pay for the return of the item.
If goods are lost or damaged in transit, we may charge you, or not refund to you, amounts that are attributable to the loss or damage.
We cannot accept substitute or alternative items by way of returns nor are we able to send them back to you, so please look closely at the items you return to us. If you return or attempt to return substitute, used, damaged or alternative items you will still be responsible for paying for the original item purchased and we reserve the right to charge an investigation fee of no less than £30 to cover the cost of our investigating the position.
We can offset this amount due from other sums that may be due to you for refunds etc. Accepting returned goods and/or crediting an account does not constitute a waiver of our right to charge an investigation fee.
When we have accepted a return we will process a refund for the price you paid for the goods. However, please note we are permitted by law to reduce your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods, if this has been caused by your handling them in a way which would not be permitted in a shop. Please allow up to 30 days for our returns process to complete.

Additional terms and conditions apply to cancelling orders for certain goods such as made to order items. Please refer to the terms relating to the supply of those goods.
Unless the goods are faulty or not as described you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. Additional express delivery charges will not be refunded if you cancel or return your order. If postage is refunded by us it will revert to our lowest standard delivery charge.
Items purchased online may not be returned to a Valentia Boutique store. Items that have been purchased in-store can be returned in the same way as purchased.
All items purchased online or instore must be returned in conjunction with our returns policy.
Cancellations & Returns In-Store Purchases
For all standard in-store purchases you do not have a legal right to refund or replacement if you simply change your mind. But, please ask about our returns policy as we may be able to help you in-store.

Exceptions to the Returns Policy
The following exceptions apply to our standard returns policy. No refunds or exchanges can be given on items made to your specification, such as all made to order items, unless there is a manufacturing defect or the goods are not as ordered i.e.: wrong style received.
If the products are is considered faulty by The Valentia Boutique we will at our discretion either rectify the problem or offer a full refund and you will incur no return postage costs.
For reasons of health, hygiene safety and copyright, we are unable to exchange or refund the following products once worn or once the packaging has been opened or damaged unless the items are of unsatisfactory quality or unfit for purpose:
underwear and shapewear;
swimwear (unless the hygiene strips and tags are still in place).
Gift cards or eGiftcards/vouchers cannot be returned or exchanged for cash.
The Valentia Boutique reserve the right to reject a return or give a partial refund if any of our terms have been violated.
Additional Services Cancellation Policy
This section refers to our Venue Decoration and Specialist cleaning services.
The Valentia Boutique offer a no quibble 14 day money back guarantee if you choose to cancel one of the additional services we offer.
A refund will only be processed if you have not already received the service and/or the service has not already been carried out.
Venue Decoration – Cancellation Charges
After the 14 day period the following cancellation charges will apply:
Between booking date and 16 weeks before the booked event date : 25% of total cost
Between 2 and 15 weeks before the booked event date : 50% of total cost
Between 0 and 2 weeks before the booked event date : 100% of total cost
UK, EU and Jersey. The prices shown are inclusive of any value added tax or sales tax. Due to circumstances beyond our control, prices may have to be altered up or down, including any alterations to the rate of value added tax or sales tax. The current price will be shown when you place your order. All prices shown are cash prices in sterling GBP. Prices of goods displayed in and ordered through the Directory may differ from prices in-store.
International orders may incur additional import charges relevant to the country of residence these will be in addition to any price paid via the web site and will be solely the consumer responsibility to settle any outstanding amount with whichever authority has requested payment
Usage & Warranty
All products are sold on the basis that they are suitable for occasional domestic use only.
Please be aware that many of the products provided to you by The Valentia Boutique and its suppliers are often manufactured using materials of a delicate and fragile nature, therefore they are intended for occasional use only. When these items are subjected to hardware or brushing it can actuate damage or potentially cause the loss of decorations, lace and trims etc. These products are therefore exempt from any warranty.
For all other goods The Valentia Boutique provides a maximum of 28 day warranty from the date of purchase. If you believe an item that you have purchased maybe faulty, you have the right to return the item to us. The item will then be inspected and if considered to be a manufacturing fault Valentia will repair or replace the item or refund you the cost of the item should a repair or replacement not be available.
All orders for products are subject to availability. In the event of seasonal supply difficulties we may offer an alternative. If the alternative offered is not suitable a full refund will be given.
Colour Reproduction & Trims
This section includes made to order items.
The Valentia Boutique take great care with the colours used in the collections. The limitations of colour reproduction and the individual colour settings of your screen may mean a slight variation. Every reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions are accurate. However, specifications may change.
Exact Colours and shades of fabrics and designs on trim and decoration, including lace and beading cannot be guaranteed. Various natural fabric such as silks can have differing texture or appearances.
Made to Order Items
The Valentia Boutique supply a large range of made to order items, this is usually highlighted on the individual item or advised at the point of sale in-store.
The following rules apply to online and instore made to order purchases.
All products are subject to availability. Availability is usually advised when placing an order but if this is not possible we will advise of any delay as soon as possible.
Delivery for Made to Order Items
Delivery times for made to order items vary for every product. This can range from 14 days to 12 months. You will be advised of an estimated scheduled delivery date within 30 days of purchase whether you purchase online or in-store.
We will aim to supply the goods by the date quoted, but supply times are not guaranteed. If delivery is delayed due to any cause beyond our reasonable control you will be contacted by telephone, email or post.
Rush orders may be available on selected products, please contact Customer Services before placing your order as a surcharge may be applicable
For all online purchases you must enter your wear date. Please contact Customer Services before placing your order if your wear date is within 18 weeks.
Payment for Made to Order Items
All purchases made online must be paid for in full at the time of order.
It is preferred that purchases made in-store are paid in full at the time of order. However, you may have the opportunity to spread the cost of your purchase if your wear date is more than 12 weeks from the date of purchase and the value of your purchase is over £500.00. Please ask in-store for full details.
If you have arranged a payment plan any outstanding balance must be settled no later than 60 days prior to your scheduled estimated delivery date.
If you are on an agreed payment plan or low deposit arrangement with the Company. The arrangement is solely made on the understanding that payments are due at the agreed times. Failure to keep to the agreement will result in the full balance becoming due. If you are experiencing financial difficulty you must contact Customer Services in the first instance.
Failure to make payment within the agreement shall entitle us to write to you upon expiration of 7 days notice, a late payment administration charge of £19 will apply. We reserve the right to charge interest at the rate pursuant to the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (interest) Act 1998 as at the due date.
Late payments of more than 60 days will incur additional interest on the outstanding balance at 5% over the current Bank of England base rate.
The Company may use the services of third party agents or seek a court judgement to recover any outstanding debt owed.
Items remain the property of The Valentia Boutique until paid for in full.
Cancelling a Made to Order Item
Cancellation is not possible after the order has been placed and accepted. This is due to the products ‘bespoke' nature
Made to order items are exempt from our standard returns and cancellation policy.
You do not have any right to cancel a made to order item in any respect.
No refunds or exchanges can be given on items made to your specification, such as all made to order items, all made to measure items, unless there is a manufacturing defect or the goods are not as ordered i.e.: wrong style received.

If you have already contacted Customer Services please complete a change to order form and you will usually get a response within 7 business days.
Returning a Made to Order Item
All made to order products can only be returned if faulty, or if not made to the specification given. If you wish to arrange for goods to be returned, please contact customer services If the products are is considered faulty by The Valentia Boutique we will at our discretion either rectify the problem or offer a full refund and you will incur no return postage costs.
If the returned goods are found not to be faulty a fee for carriage will be charged at £9.99 per order and the goods will be returned to you with no credit being made to your account or refund given.
We accept no responsibility for made to order items not fitting due to a client’s increase or decrease in weight or body size or any other reason beyond our control
Alterations & Third Party Services
The Valentia Boutique do not carry out any alterations to products once supplied and delivered. Alterations charges are not included in the purchase price.
The Valentia Boutique does not accept responsibility for any changes made to any product purchased from its store. Any such contract would solely be between the third party offering the service and the consumer.
Valentia recommends that all special occasion clothing is cleaned by a specialist cleaning service.
Valentia advise against dry cleaning any of our products
Valentia provides a third party specialist cleaning service. In the unlikely event a garment is damaged through this service and it is proven that it is due to the negligence of the third party, every effort will be made by Valentia to reach a solution that the item is either repaired or replaced.

Blue Light Card Offers & Discounts
For purchases made after 5th October 2019 only. Valid Blue Light Card Holders will receive 15% discount off the purchase price. Limited to wedding dresses only. Additional discounts may be offered during Blue Light Card Events throughout the year. Excludes sale items and can not used in conjunction with any other offer or discount unless specifically specified at the time of sale.. Discount applied only on production of a valid blue light card in accordance with Blue Light Card Terms and Conditions.
We hope that you will be happy with the item you have purchased and the level of customer service you have received. The Valentia Boutique welcomes and learns from complaints. We aim to deal with complaints speedily and sympathetically. All complaints are logged, investigated and replied to within a reasonable timeframe.

For any content that you submit, you grant The Valentia Boutique a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable right and license to use, copy, modify, delete in its entirety, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from and/or distribute such content and/or incorporate such content into any form, medium or technology throughout the world without compensation to you.
Ratings and written comments are generally posted within three to five business days. However, we reserve the right to remove or to refuse to post any submission for any reason. You acknowledge that you, not The Valentia Boutique are responsible for the contents of your submission.
None of the content that you submit shall be subject to any obligation of confidence on the part of The Valentia Boutique, its agents, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners or third party service providers and their respective directors, officers and employees.
By submitting your email address in connection with your rating and review, you agree that The Valentia Boutique and its third party service providers may use your email address to contact you about the status of your review and other administrative purposes.
Your Statutory Rights
